3IP’s website designers don’t believe in brash, in-your-eyes imagery any more than their earphones blare loud, screechy music. But that’s not to say all is dull or uninteresting.
The web page design philosophy around here is: Make it pleasing to look at, easy to navigate, sensible yet friendly, approachable and unselfconscious—maybe with a fun surprise or two thrown in for good measure. Then again, if it’s clash and blather you're looking for, we can do that, too.

Speaking of graphic design, a peripheral activity at 3IP’s parent company, Three Islands Press, is a small digital type foundry called The Type Quarry. Faces from The Type Quarry’s growing library have become popular among graphic artists in both web and publication design.
